malaysia-motorshowThe show will host many exhibitors from around ASEAN as well as local distributors and manufacturers, and is expected to attract 100,000 visitors.

More than 150 exhibitors from renowned vehicle brands, aftermarket and accessory products will lay out their extensive product range during the event.

There will be special deals only available at the show, with exclusive car deals and discounts offered only during these four days with attractive financial packages. There are also RM200,000 worth of prizes to be won.

Visitors who place their bookings on a passenger car at the Malaysia Autoshow stand to win a Kia Rio X 1.4 Sedan worth RM78,000 in the “Buy a Car, Win a Car” contest sponsored by Kia Malaysia.

Other Autoshow attractions will include test drives of the latest cars, auto accessory and lifestyle booths and children’s fun and games corner.

carsifuCarSifu Auto Show 2016 visitors stand to win fabulous prizes and get good deals and promotions when they buy a car.

The auto show will be held at 1 Utama Shopping Centre here from tomorrow to Sunday.

Among the prizes in a Book and Win contest are two Sharp 58in Full HD televisions, eight Sharp 50in UHD televisions and a pair of AirAsia return tickets each to Sapporo, Japan; Hong Kong; Bali; Da Nang, Vietnam; and Luang Prabang, Laos.

There will also be a CarSifu Snap & Win contest where a visitor can take a selfie and bring the picture to the Star Media Group booth to claim a prize.

Also, there are attractive deals and sales promotions from car brands participating in the fiveday auto show, namely Chevrolet, Citroen, Honda, Isuzu, Kia, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Perodua, Proton, Renault, Volvo and Volkswagen.

Visitors can also win perfume cards, drawstring bags, luggage tags, umbrellas, key chains, road tax stickers, nonwoven bags, backpacks and carbranded badges in a series of fun quiz activities held at the auto show.

The auto show, from 10am to 10pm, will be on a display area of 12,188sq ft around the Highstreet concourse area of the shopping mall.

About 30 cars will be displayed and some will be made available for test drives on a route around Bandar Utama.

epre2017Hydro Power continues to play an increasing part in generating electricity without using fossil fuels. Government targets for this type of generation is 4% by the year 2020 with 6 new stations to come on stream by 2022. Of particular significance is the Sarawak Corridor for Renewable Energy (SCORE) which is estimated to be able to generate 20GW as more projects come to fruition. With high voltage cable connection to happen in the next ten years this capacity can be channelled into peninsular Malaysia and be really maximised in the years to come.

EPRE (Electric, Power & Renewable Energy Malaysia) is Malaysia’s flagship show for power generation and transmission and will focus on all the current methods of energy generation placing much emphasis on the increasing importance of renewable energy as the landscape of energy mix changes in line with the Government’s commitment to increasing the percentage contribution from non fossil fuel sources.

EPRE is hosted by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) Malaysia national utility who will take the lead in driving the country’s energy policy along Government objectives.

Private & International School Fair 2016

pisf-penangThe 5th Private & International School Fair in Penang, organised by Mint Communications, provides an avenue for schools to meet with parents. The fair also gives parents the options to wisely choose the most suitable school for their children to attend. Parents can do so by speaking with private and international schools representatives about the specific curriculum they offer.

The first Private & International School Fair held in Penang in 2012 attracted over 180 families.
